More Attractions in Chattanooga Tennessee
Oh yeah, we've just begun to scratch the surface here! So, I won't bore you with another long intro. Here we go... More Chattanooga AttractionsAudubon Acres is the home of the Chattanooga Audubon Society. It houses a visitors center, offices, and a small museum that tells about those who used to live there. The property, which contains a diverse population of plant and animal life, also has more than four miles of walking and hiking trails on both sides of the creek. You'll also find that picnic tables, agroup fire circle, and a tent campsite are available for their visitors. The Battles for Chattanooga Electric Map & Museum is the perfect starting point for a tour of the Chattanooga area's numerous Civil War battle sites. You'll watch as a three-dimensional electronic battle map presents Chattanooga's Civil War history. The map features 5 thousand miniature soldiers, over 600 lights, sound effects and exceptional details of the major battles which were fought here in the month of November of 1863. The Chattanooga Zoo is no where near as large as other Tennessee zoos weighing in at only 6 acres, but it is still a vital link in promoting our awareness of the world around us.
