Chattanooga Breakfast at its Best! - Bluegrass Grill
At the Bluegrass Grill, everything is made to order, which can have its drawbacks when you go on a busy day. But the food is worth the wait! They have several house newspapers to read while you wait and lots of folks to watch or most likely get into a conversation with. It is family run with the younger children working the counter and cash register, and the older kids cooking or waiting tables. On a regular day there is no problem getting in and out, but know this isn't fast food. The number 5 or 6 is my favorite with either the Raisin toast or the biscuits. There is a healthy option to substitute seasonal fresh fruit instead of any of the usual carbs: biscuits, toast, home fries or grits. But those carbs are worth their calories some days. And breakfast for lunch is one of my favorites, but if you want their lunch menu, gyros and the soup of the day is always worth a try. The Dad finds his creative outlet in making a different soup everyday. They are definitely worth checking out! |
