Chattanooga martial arts training for my children was something that I struggled with for quite some time. I did not want my kids to participate in any of the undertones of "eastern religion" involved in martial arts. So, after being assured and convinced by my brother-in-law and sister-in-law that their method of teaching the martial arts did not involve any form of worship, etc. (simply self defense, discipline, and mutual respect only), I agreed to let them try it with the condition that if I ever see anything wrong with it, we would pull them from class.Well, guess what? They have been taking classes at The Action Point for quite some time (about 8 months as of Sept. '07) and I have yet to find a "religious clash" and I don't think I will. In fact, if my back injury did not hinder, I would love to take lessons as well!
