Chattanooga Restaurants:
Not All Southern Style...
But All Southern Good!

Chattanooga restaurants are almost as hard to number as the scenic city's charming sites, sounds, and activities. So, I'm not even going to try.

But I would like to give you a few pointers. Some will be my own favorites and others, the recommendations of those, well a little more "cultured" than me.

Either way, you can't go wrong with the restaurant scene in Chattanooga.

Whether your appetite is fine dining and gourmet cuisine or something cheap, quick and greasy (yes, I said greasy), or anything in between...you can find it in Chattanooga's restaurants!

My Favorite Franchise: Texas Roadhouse

In my "less cultured" opinion, Texas Roadhouse is the best of the Chattanooga restaurants I have eaten at!

I haven't tasted a better steak or "fall off the bone" BBQ ribs from any restaurant ever! And don't even get me started on their perfectly southern seasoned green beans!

The Texas Roadhouse menu is also sure to have something to satisfy everyone's taste buds.

They do have a bar in house, but it doesn't seem to carry the "bar environment".

Texas Roadhouse is just a fine eatery with a special Texas flair.

I love Texas Roadhouse and will travel many miles (if needed) to get to one!

My 2nd Franchise Pick: Logan's Roadhouse

OK, I'll admit, there seems to be a pattern here! I love this style of "cuisine".

Logan's food, like the other Chattanooga restaurants I just mentioned, offers the kind of food I like to grill at home...and they grill it almost as good as I do! Seriously! Logan's Roadhouse has ribs and steak almost as good as Texas Roadhouse, but just not quite there to me. But they are still better than most you get when you eat out!

Don't worry though. If ribs and steak aren't your dishes, Logans Roadhouse has a very versatile menu as well. They are able to cater to even the most finicky eater!

Even my dad likes to eat there, but he prefers the "Texas" chain better too. SHHH! Don't tell Logan's!

Favorite Barbeque Restaurants

OK, when you say Chattanooga restaurants, good southern barbeque must certainly be lingering somewhere in the back of your mind.

I don't know if you would consider Chattanooga as a BBQ capitol or not, but if not, she sure is nippin' at the heals of the winner!
