The Riverbend Festival has become the biggest public event in the scenic city over the last twenty five plus years.

When you see the magnitude of Riverbend Chattanooga and it's impact on the city's economy today, it is hard to believe that it has grown from a mere one thousand people watching performers on a sand barge to well over half a million attendees enjoying top notch refreshments and world class entertainment over a period of nine days on six stages and over one hundred performances! Wow, I'm glad I got that all out!

Did I mention that the Riverbend Festival always ends with one of the largest and best fireworks displays I have ever seen? Well it does!

Chattanooga Riverbend Festival 2008: Performers

This year Riverbend Chattanooga (set for June 6 - 14) boasts an impressive array of performers, as festival goers have come to expect.

Performers so far this year include ZZ Top, Anthony Hamilton, The Black Crowes, Josh Turner, Mercy Me, America with the CSO, Rodney Adkins, Little Big Town, Bachman-Cummings Band, and many more to be announced!

Chattanooga Riverbend Festival 2008: Admission

Unless you are absolutely sure that you will not attend Riverbend Chattanooga any more than one night, your best value for admission is to buy a Riverbend Pin.

This year Riverbend admission pins are available for advanced purchase at all area Favorite Market convenience stores beginning April 22 through June 5. The discounted advanced price is $28.

You could also purchase your admission pin at the festival gates beginning June 6 for the general admission price of $37.

Just remember, Riverbend Pins are the most cost effective way to attend more than one night of festivities!

One night wrist bands will only be available for purchase at the festival gates for $23 except for Family Night June 10th when one night admissions are $5 each. See why the pins are such a greater value!

Oh, and children 10 and under are admitted free!

Other specials on admissions such as Early Bird Pin Discounts for businesses purchasing 100 or more pins before March 31st and Club Riverbend amenities may also be available. For more info call (423)756-2211.

The Riverbend Festival 2008: Other Festivities

Riverbend Chattanooga also offers other supplemental events such as the BlueCross Riverbend Run.

The Riverbend Run includes a 10k race, a 5k race, a 5k walk, and a 1 mile fun run/walk.
