The Chattanooga Zoo at Warner Park

The Chattanooga Zoo at Warner Park is no where near the popular attraction that the Chattanooga Aquarium is these days, but it is certainly an attraction animal lovers should keep on their list to visit!

The zoo sits on only six acres in the heart of Warner Park and is located just two miles from downtown Chattanooga.

The scenic city's zoo, though small, features animals and information from all over the globe!

The Gombe Forest exhibit, for example, houses 5 energetic chimpanzees that are sure to keep you entertained.

Then there's The Himalayan Passage, the zoo's newest exhibit, featuring snow leopards, red pandas, langurs and the endangered “Bali-Mynahs”.

The zoo also houses spider monkeys swinging around the South American exhibit.

The jaguar loves to lounge in the Chattanooga sun and the macaws like to strike up a conversation with most passers-by.

The Warner Park Ranch Exhibit is the place where you can feed the goats.

The zoo also has an endangered species carousel, concessions, gift shop, and bathrooms for the public.

The zoo entrance is off of East 3rd Street.
