Dog Training In Your Home was established in 1989. Our in home dog training philosophy is simple. We teach your dog to be a well behaved family member. In many cases your dogs home environment is enabling bad behavior. Your dogs home is the most logical place for training. Our services are designed to make training fun for you and your dog.

Dee Bass, the owner of Dog Training In Your Home has a strong belief that you can teach any dog to do anything! All dogs are capable of being well mannered companions and are able to respect the rules of your household. She strives to improve the lives of both canines and humans alike. Dee has been working with dogs basically her whole life, starting with the Labradors her parents bred and trained. After college, she spent 5 years in Colorado volunteering at Copper Mountain Resort with search and rescue dogs. Dee enjoys working with shelter dogs and has been a foster parent. Her primary goal in fostering is to train these dogs and then find good homes for them. Her motivation for being a dog trainer is to keep dogs in their homes!
She works with all ages and breeds of dogs, covering everything from housebreaking to basic service dog training, but specializes in behavior problem solving and "difficult" breeds.
