Girl Scout Earth Day Extravaganza

by Maria Price
(Chattanooga, TN)

Ever wondered what alternative energy technologies exist? What can I recycle? What is composting? What can I do to help save the Earth?

The Chataugua Area Girl Scouts (Red Bank, Hixson & N Chattanooga) are hosting a FREE & open to the public EARTH DAY EXTRAVAGANZA at St Jude's School in Red Bank from 2-5PM on Sunday, April 20th, 2008.

Bring your friends & family & spend a fun afternoon learning more about what you can do to help save the planet!

There will be several informative booths, lots of great activities, environmental learning stations, hybrid cars, a service project & so much more! It's an afternoon of free fun learning for the whole family!

Remember, together, we can make a difference!

Bring your aluminum cans to be donated to the Pet Placement Center!

If you are a "green" business or organization, and would like to be part of our event at no cost, please contact the event coordinator.
