Our day with the Fish

Can it get any better than this??

On my husbands birthday, July 27th, we decided to take our grandchildren to the aquarium. My granddaughter, Dixie, is 2 and a half and my grandson, David, is 14 months. My husbands family lives in Georgia right across the state line. They all decided to come with us that day. Just so they could watch the kids. None of them have kids. Man what a day. We all had a blast just seeing their reaction. Enjoying it from a child's view is a totally different experience than an adults'.

Dixie couldn't get enough of the sharks and still talks about them every day since we were there. She imagines them outside the car as we are driving along and inside stores. At the house she will come tearing in from the other room to jump up on the couch that the shark is after her, nibbling her toes.

One area she had the most fun though was the water steps outside. I want to thank you for those. Both of the kids love water and that was like the BEST.

I am sending you a picture of Dixie in the water. My sister-in-law took it and I think it is perfect. Hope you do too.

For Christmas I am getting my Mom tickets. She will be so thrilled, but you might have trouble getting her out.
