Hello everyone:
Visit us at: www.time-share-fun.com
My wife and I are avid timeshare owners. We own two timeshare weeks purchased on the resale market for less than $3,000 total. We are affiliated with the Interval International Exchange system. We have yet to visit the Chattanooga, Tn area. We hope to do so this coming summer 2008.
Looking into Interval's Directory we found the nearest we could exchange into was in the Gatlinburg, TN area. There are 4 timeshare resorts in that area, which is about 153 miles away. Looking at Google's map it would appear to be a beautiful drive with our scooter, to Chattanooga, TN., which we usually travel with when visiting a timeshare resort.
The two nearest Interval timeshare resorts to Chattanooga, Tn that we have visited was Paradise Point near Branson, MO. and Williamsburg, VA. Both resorts are about the same distance to Chattanooga, TN., about 590 miles. Check out http://www.paradisepointbranson.com and Marriott's Manor Club at Ford's Colony. We would recommend both of these 5 Star timeshare resorts for exchanging into.
In 2005 we decided to check our Interval International directory for a 2006 vacation in the Branson, Missouri area. We live in Northern Minnesota, and had heard so much about that area from friends and neighbors, and the endless entertainment available.
So, we did our usual Internet search and request through Interval's online service.
We had heard that Branson is really a busy bumper to bumper vacation spot. After looking over the various timeshare resorts we elected to submit a request to Paradise Point at Hollister, Missouri. It is a 20 minute drive to the downtown area of Branson. It was well worth it.
The drive was short and scenic, so we enjoyed it. It was also away from all the hectic hustle and bustle of the main area of Branson. Again, what can we say about our timeshare stay that we haven't already said?
The resort is on 25 private acres of land on Table Rock Lake with a 22-slip marina, a full service clubhouse, beautiful outdoor pool (a great place for kids), and you don't have to worry about a lot of traffic.
Our accommodations again were great. We had elevator service to our accommodations on the 3rd floor, no noise from anyone above our unit, and a great view overlooking the beautiful pool, marina and Table Rock Lake.
Usually, the first full day after arriving at our timeshare facilities, we take it easy, getting up late in the morning, resting and looking around the resort facilities. This we did. We then picked up literature from the office about all the area attractions. From these we planned our week.
We highly recommend visiting Paradise Point Resort at Hollister, Missouri.
