Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and Tennessee Day Trips

In our Tennessee day trips section, we will constantly be adding great day trips that can be taken from Chattanooga.

The area surrounding Chattanooga has some awesome and worth while attractions and sights to see.

We'll go as far south as Atlanta, Georgia, as far north as Knoxville and Nashville, as far east as North Carolina, and on into Alabama to the west!

If you have taken in all of the sights in Chattanooga (if that is possible) and you are ready to branch out, then come to this page regularly as we will be updating often.

As a good reminder to check back, you can subscribe to our RSS feed using the RSS button below the Navbar to the left.

Either way, we trust you will enjoy our Tennessee day trips information and links.

Knoxville, Tennessee

Not only was Knoxville the home of the 1982 World's Fair, but it is also the home of the University of Tennessee Volunteers - my favorite college football team.

OK, so you don't want to go to Knoxville to watch football, or maybe you do, you'll still find plenty of great things to do on your day trip to Knoxville.

Knoxville, Tennessee has a ton of restaurants to tantilize your taste buds.

Knoxville has dozens of museums, galleries, and many stage theatres, including the oldest one still operating in the state of Tennesee!

This southern city also boasts of great opera, ballet, and a symphony orchestra.

If the great outdoors is your cup of tea, then you can also go rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, caving, camping, whitewater rafting, and mountain biking!

OK, there is simply too much to do in Knoxville to mention here, so this website will help you more: KnoxvilleBusiness.com

Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Probably one of the most famous places in Tennessee and a great a great Tennessee day trip from Chattanooga is Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tennessee!

Nestled in and surrounded by the Great Smokey Mountains, these two incredible destination towns have so much to see and do that it would be impossible to cover here, so...

Check them both out at Pigeon-Forge-Gatlinburg-Family-Git2Know.com!
