Treated Poorly at the Chattanooga Tennessee Aquarium
by Jan Robertson
We arrived at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga excited to see the fish, etc, but my daughters camcorder ran out of power. So after we purchased our tickets and saw the sea horses, we decided to go eat something and charge the battery. Then we toured the ocean side of the aquarium and noticed that it was time for our boat ride on the Tennessee River. So off we went and had a great time. Next, we went back to the aquarium to view the fresh water side, but noticed that the door was locked. But an a employee let us in and we showed him our tickets and we are off to see some fish, or so we thought...A young woman asked us if she can help us, so I said that we were there to see the fish. She replied that the aquarium was CLOSING AN HOUR EARLY FOR A PRIVATE SHOWING! If I had been told that the aquarium would be closing early when I purchased the tickets, we could have taken the boat ride at a later time. So we went home very disappointed having been unable to see the exhibits on the fresh water side of the Tennessee Aquarium. I thought this was very tacky and unprofessional. |
