About Rock City

Explore the towering rock formations, look out across the Appalachian Mountains, and revel in the natural beauty of one of the country's most beloved symbols of Americana. Rock City is located just six miles from downtown Chattanooga, and features a 4,100-foot trail that highlights the caves, floral wonders, and incredible rock formations. Feeling brave? Trek across the harrowing 200 foot "Swing-A-Long Bridge."

About the Incline Railway

With its unbelievably steep grade of nearly 73%, the Incline Railway is touted as the world's steepest passenger railway. The ride to the top of Lookout Mountain is spectacular in itself! Once you reach the summit, be sure to head to the Lookout Mountain Station, where you'll be able to enjoy views from the highest overlook at the mountain! Two stations offer feature gift shops, candy stores, a snack bar, arcade, and more.

About Ruby Falls

Descend deep into Ruby Falls Cave to get to this geological & water-based wonder! This 145-foot water is located inside the mountain, and is known as the country's highest underground waterfall. Inside the cave, you'll also see other incredible formations as you learn about the factors that have led to the incredible Subterranean Forest over millions of years.

• Price includes round-trip Incline Railway ride, Rock City Gardens & tour, and Ruby Falls tour.
• Lookout Mountain is open year-round. Hours vary by season.
• Plan to allow for at least five hours to enjoy all three attractions.
• Please note: The Incline Railway does not operate in January & February, and is therefore not included during those months.
• Free parking is available on-site, and can accommodate buses and RVs.
• Some attractions and areas are handicap accessible, including Ruby Falls' main building, parts of Rock City, and the Incline Railway stations. Incline Railway cars are not.
• Due to some narrow passages, strollers are not allowed inside Ruby Falls' cave or along Rock City's trail.
